Today we’re officially pausing the Kickstarter campaign for Stygian — not because we’re giving up, but because we’re scaling up.

What started as a one-man descent into the woods has become something much more.
The vision behind Stygian has always been ambitious — atmospheric horror built with precision, patience, and reverence for the genre. To truly match that vision, we’re no longer walking this path alone.

A Growing Coven

We’re thrilled to introduce several new creative voices who are now part of the team — each bringing professional expertise, fresh perspective, and a shared belief in what Stygian can become.
Together, we’re shaping a stronger production — one that honors the original intent while elevating it to new levels of execution.

What’s Next

We’re shifting gears from DIY survival mode into focused, high-caliber production.
The film is still independently driven — but with broader creative and technical support behind the camera. That means more time, more precision, and ultimately a more haunting, uncompromising final result.

This recalibration also allows us to align better with upcoming grants, new campaign partners, and international platforms. In short: this pause sets the stage for something far more powerful.
